Prolonged yearning

Having him for four months (fifth month on the 18th!), I feel so overjoyed even in that short span of time. Maybe because my parents are okay about me having a relationship even though I haven't graduated from college yet. Haha! I finally had the chance to prove to my parents that I'm capable of managing my schoolwork and maintaining my relationships with other people.


Yes, four months and I hope it continues. I ALWAYS PRAY FOR IT TO BE CONTINUOUS. :(
Anyway, let me introduce you to my best friend, my stress reliever, my pokemon ranger, my beau, my one and only. Say hello to my Deric Aldrin Tan!

He's also a DS Battler and TCG Player Extraordinaire (That's what I saw! Hahaha!). Well, I think he is. Hahaha! I'm sorry but I don't really know since I'm not familiar with the trading card game of Pokemon. I knew about some things about Pokemon since I played their console games, not all of them though. So yeah, he has these decks of Pokemon cards sitting on his table. Also, when he shuffles his deck of cards, it kinda relaxes him. Sometimes, I get this feeling that I'm being replaced by those cards. :| His favorite Pokemon is Chandelure. I don't know if it's just me or this Pokemon's name sounds just like a chandelier? Haha! He also loves Gliscor. I don't know who that Pokemon is so don't ask me. Ask him. Hahaha!


He also loves arcade games. In one of our mall dates, we played at Timezone and this other video arcade place in MoA. If you play with him in Dance Maniax, prepare to bow down. He'll crush you til your last breath and sweat. That's what I experienced (I really suck at that game). I was like, "OMG, you're not the Deric I know!" blah blah etc. He's good in car racing games too. Maybe because he knows how to drive and I don't and that's a valid excuse for a lady like me. Haha! He also made me look like a loser in DJ Max Technika and Tekken 6.


Last but not the least, he loves eating. His term for him being matakaw is "growing boy." This guy can gobble up as much as 5 cups of rice, 6 quarters of chicken, a plate of pasta and many more. He eats like an elephant but he's still as thin as a giraffe. Fucked up metabolism, I say. Hahaha! But I'm glad he likes vegetables and fruits. He stays fit because of basketball and other sports.


Time and tradition may be a big hindrance for us but we know that we'll improve and strive each day as a couple, hoping for a happily forever after.
